Well, I've reached the to-me-mythical clock-speed of 3.61 Ghz, which translates to my PC running at 150%.

There's still bugs in it, Monolyth(Which is the name of my current rig) seems to lock up every once in a while, there seems no concrete cause to this, other then maybe a possible VOltage spike... I'm starting to lose faith in the Powersupplies that came with my Chassis.

Speaking of which, I have some upgrades planned, I want to plug in another Graphcis card, anothe HD4870, for a Crossfire solution.... granted, with my current Motherboard/Chipset choice, I'll only get some 30% performence gain, bare in mind 30% of 10.000 BHP is still a margin to take in account.
Next to that, I want more RAM, eventually... If I'm going native 64-Bits, might as well pass to 8Gb, right?
Before th RAM, however, a new chassis is in order, and subsequently, a new Powersupply as well....

But that's not for now, nor soon... I'm currently suffering from a bit of financial withdrawal...

Anyway, having that said, I spend the past couple of days reinstalling one of my Operating systems, Windows XP.... just to much rubbish was clogging up adequate, acceptable performance.
Should take me only a day to get the drivers all up-n-running, and another to restore all my backups.
I have a Backup PC, however, a nice(Though old) Pentium 4 Rig(Slightly overclocked for her pleasure) which runs 3Ds Max as well... so work on the Prometheus continues uninterrupted.
After she's done, I have a plan or two for other, similarly advanced ships.
